Magnesium Citrate (TMI)
So, I was taking the wrong type of Magnesium until last week when I switched and all of a sudden my bathroom habits have increased drastically. This has been the only change in daily food/supplements, well and I haven't taken any Mirlax the last few days... Anyone else have this problem or is this why most other DSer's I've talked to don't need daily Mirlax?

Two thoughts of my own.
1) The Vitalady list is older so there might not have been enough info at the time
to say glycinate over citrate.
2) Unless you are deficient the bioavailability difference isn't very high so in practical terms
it may not matter which one you use. I tend to use them interchangeably based on what is available
when I am filling my monthly organizers.

The citrate can help with bowel but some people better absorb other forms.
The improved bowel function - means most likely that you are absorbing less, and the extra magnesium ends up in the colon and increase volume by attracting- getting more water into that area.
I try to take a combination, some to absorb to get better stronger bones and less muscles spasms, and some to help with BM.
