I don't understand this ...
I had DS on 8/14/17, I've only lost 10 pounds. A fb site I'm on says don't listen to my NUT. She says for me not to eat under 600 calories but stay between 700-850, carbs under 75, protein 90-100, when I asked about fat she didn't have an answer. All I know is nothing is working! The fb site tells me calories don't matter and I need to up my fat and add more calories cause 700-850 isn't enough. When I try and do over 40g of fat the next day I'm in the bathroom a lot.
Being a month out should I be sticking to what my NUT is telling me or the fb group??
This early out what should my calories and fat be?
Its real discouraging to be failing already when I read people that had the surgery the same day I did and they are 30-50 pounds down already and I have a whopping 10, it's like why did I go through all this then.
You need to chill out. Do you often lose 10#'s in less than a month? Many times you gain weight right away due to fluids.
When you're early out too much fat will likely give you the runs. Too be honest I'm almost 3yrs out and I can't do as much fat as many others, everyone is different. I don't track calories and never have - I eat when I'm hungry (every 3 hrs) and I concentrate on protein and I also Drink lots of water.
Nutritionists are almost always clueless about the DS.
How much excess weight do you have to lose? That is a better number to look at rather than comparing to others. I lost 35lbs my first month but I started 469lbs and was aiming for 225, so I lost about 14%.
ps I'm guessing a fair number of people from whichever FB group you're on, are also here, but less active.
I started out at 373 before my pre-op liquid diet, now I'm 348 (gained 2 pounds last week and another 1 pound today.
I don't understand when again in a day I consume 650-850 in calories, 100g protein, under 30 carbs and my fat is between 30-45g. I've noticed around 45 (and once I did 55) that ya I was in the bathroom more the next day.
I just don't get what I'm doing wrong
You're actually not eating enough. What your NUT isn't telling you is that when you eat 600 calories your body is starving so it's holding onto everything you eat.
With the DS you don't count calories - you count protein and carbs and fat (at the beginning). High protein because you're only absorbing about 50% of what you're eating (the rest is eliminated hence the additional trips to the bathroom). Carbs turn into sugar, which with the DS you absorb 100%. We eat lower carbs to help with the weight loss. Carbs are actually what you increase as you get closer to your goal weight - more carbs equals less weight loss.
We also don't really absorb fat - fat helps keep things moving along. Probably the hardest thing is finding the balance.
I'm sure you didn't get to 373 (348) overnight so it's going to take time.
It's a learning process.

Starvation mode is a load of crap. Ignore it. Keep your calories low. Keep your protein and water up.
You really, really need to give it time. Almost no one loses 30 to 50 pounds in a month, not unless they started at 600 pounds. You can see my monthly losses in my ticker.
Log your food, religiously, and weigh every bite. That will give you confidence that you aren't eating too much. Then wait. It will work.

Don't count calories. Eat meat. Period. When you're hungry, eat. Are you drinking 80+ ounces water a day? You're so new everything will make you crap. Throw the dang scale away, you shouldn't weigh that often. I can vary 5-7lbs from day to day. In the beginning I only weighed at the doctors office - once a month I'd stop in and get weighed. You're going to give yourself an eating disorder. Post a days menu so we can see what you're eating
