Just to let you all know

Wanted to let everyone know that has had the DS like me. As you know I have had a lot of problems..

Well they have found out that I have Barretts Esophagus which is sort of a pre Cancer in the esophagus where it meet the remainder of the stomach. They are hoping that they are early enough finding it to prevent cancer but it showed up strongly on the PET scan I had.

From what I've heard it is not uncommon among DSers so you might want to be aware and have regular endoscopies to check. I am hoping it is early enough detection in mine to have something called Radio Frequency Abilation to prevent it. So get yearly endoscopies and they can watch for it.

It is caused from Gerd or Heavy Smoking and Drinking. Which I have had all 3 of. If you have frequent indigestion be aware of this. It doesn't happen to everyone by any means my wife is just fine but just be aware.
