More fat, please
Hello,
I'm getting back to basics at over 4 years post DS and trying to shed some regain. I've gotten my carbs under control, but the scale will not budge. I think I'm not getting in enough fat. So looking for suggestions on how to add more fat to my daily intake without adding more carbs. I eat bacon every morning and use full fat salad dressing, but I don't eat much salad. I'm using butter and full fat mayo. So aside from switching to HWC from half and half in my coffee, I'm at a loss.
Any suggestions?
TIA!
Many peeps like having a bulletproof coffee for added fat.

Nuts? They are loaded with good fats, and not super high in carbs. Of course if you are trying to do extremely low carbs, it may still be too much for you. Here is some sample nutrition info for different nuts (1 oz portions):
Almonds: 14g Fat, 6g Carbs, 6g Protein
Walnuts: 18g Fat, 3.9g Carbs, 4.3g Protein
Cashews: 12g Fat, 9g Carbs, 5g Protein
Macadamia Nuts: 21g Fat, 3.9g Carbs, 2.2g Protein
Peanuts (okay, not technically a nut, but you know...): 14g Fat, 4.6g Carbs, 7g Protein

What types of protein do you eat? Eat higher fat proteins - dark meat chicken, beef, pork.

You may need to up your protein for a week or so to 150-175g. Your body needs to know that food is plentiful and you don't need to store up.
