Hi - Hope someone can help me
Hi,
I had my DS back in 2007. I've been using the Scandipharm ADEK Liquigels all these years. I went to order some today and I can't find any online and the Duodenal Switch site seems to be something different than the last time I was there.
I am DESPERATE to get some of the Luqigels, can anyone help me? People keep trying to give me those awful Bariatric Advantage jaw breakers, but I want my Luqigels........if anyone can help me, please let me know.

ADEK's are not adequate for us. They sound perfect in that they contain the very vitamins we need, i.e. the fat soluble vitamins, but they contain so little of each as to be useless.
You need to be taking the "dry" for for A, D, and K, each separately and in doses that would be much too large for a "normal" absorber but are right for us. I can't tell you exactly what doses you need because each of us seems to be a bit different. You need to follow your labs - not just accept some doctor's office employee telling you they are normal because they could be normal on the way to tanking - and adjust your supplementation in accordance with your labs. And they are small, easy to swallow capsules, so you won't have any problems getting them down.

Are you still near the bariatric office where you had the surgery done? If yes, see if they have sample of the various vitamins available to try. I don't like the Bariatric Advantage vitamins either, but I now have the ProCare Health Bariatric chewables, and they are recommended by my doctor's office. Maybe if you try a few, you will find one that you like.
You want to get dry versions of the A, D, and K (E isn't always necessary), and we usually buy each separately instead of as a multi so we can customize our dosages (some need triple the amount others need). You can get them from Amazon. Bariatric vitamins are all hype.
