Good morning. I am new to this forum my surgeon recommended it to me as a resource for tips and support, so here I am. I am 22 days post op, I had a DS on 4/6. I had a fluke life threatening complication and ended up in the hospital for 7 days. I was on liquids much longer than normal do to the complications and have just transitioned to puréed foods in the last week or so. I lost almost 30 pounds in the first 12 days and the scale has not moved since I transitioned to puréed foods. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

Very normal. 3 week stall. Don't weigh yourself so often, you'll drive yourself nuts lol. You're going to have many starts and stops. Heck I'm out 2.5 yrs and my weight can vary 5-10lbs in a day.

Thanks for the advice. I tucked my scale away and I will continue working and weight in at my follow up appt in two weeks. Thanks again.

Perfectly normal. Just continue following your surgeon's schedule and sip sip sip. Most important thing is to keep hydrated!
