Time off work?

That's very true. My coworker and boss are both planning 2 week vacations and they arent worried about work. So I shouldn't feel guilty for taking time off for a medical procedure right?

How long did your brain fog last?

Not too long, I don't remember it being bad at all. It was much worse with my tummy tuck.

Saw the surgeon today and he told me 2 weeks with 3rd week of light duty. I now have a tentative date of 4/17... getting excited/nervous butterflies!

4/17 got my attention. I'll be 9 yrs out on 4/17! Super glad that I did this, my life has been pretty darn normal since.

I was off 8 weeks and needed it. Like Val said, I had problems reading (I'm an avid reader), concentrating on the TV, plus, I was very tired. If I did too much one day, I was napping for 2 days. I'm older, was almost 55 when I had my surgery. I was tired the first 2 weeks back. I'm in IT and my mind needs to be clear and focused. :)

I have a really hard time disappointing people but I think I've decided on 3 weeks. I have POTS which already makes me weak and fuzzy. I'm a coder so I think 2 weeks would be pushing it.
