Reminder: Take your Vitamins - I'm set up for the next 2 months

I just finished setting up my vitamins for the next 2 months. For me it makes it much easier to have everything set up in advance. I have 2 MedCentre vitamin organizers that I use and they work pretty well for me.

What does everyone else do??????

After 3 years it is like second nature. I used to have to follow my list of what to take when and now I just
go through bottle by bottle and fill things in where appropriate.

I've switched to a morning heavy regimen.

First 2 hours:

Zinc, copper, magnesium, A, D, K, multi, probiotic, K2, B12

1 hour later
calcium

next dose around lunch

Calcium, multi

About 3

Calcium, D

Night time

Iron and vit C

This all gets moved around a little if I'm on a finicky antibiotic but this is my baseline.

The real take away - do what you have to do so you remember to take your vitamins.

I have switched to patch vitals and my labs are the best they have been.

That's great. I tried the patches and stopped for a couple of reasons.

I first did them in addition to my regular vits and saw no increase in my labs. After that I didn't feel there
was any benefit in seeing if I could replace my regular vits. I know my regular ones work and it can be a long time between
blood tests to see if the patches were going to work for me as a replacement. .

It was more irritating to me personally to use patches than to take pills/capsules. Luckily I never had a problem taking
anything except the calcium tablets early post-op.

Lady fro Tennessee,

Very curious. Are you talking about PatchMD?

And how many of the iron patches (total mg iron) and how many of the multivitami patches do you wear a day? Also was your DS surgery a loop single anastomosis like mine?

You must also be supplementing with some oral vitamins.

Which ones?

Curious,
