Hey Gina, a couple questions, for the babybels do you eat them on there own, I find I have to put the cheese on a cracker?? and the steak your having for dinner is it just steak nothing with it? potatoes, veggies, salad? I need to get some weight off and I am looking at your food journal and just want to understand more about what your taking in. Thanks Susan

Yeah, the Babybel cheese rounds are all by themselves...no crackers.  I had some green beans with the steak tonight. I knew I was going to have either a little salad or the green beans but didn't put them in the plan.

Came to work today thinking it would be a stressful day but then found out it isn't! And, as of right now I only have about 3 hours left in my workday! Woot Woot. So here's what I have so far and what the rest of my plan is

BITES:

Premier Protein

About 1/8 of a "Texas" size blueberry muffin

Coffee with half & half

Coffee with whole milk

1/4 cup mixed nuts (mostly almonds and cashews)

Coffee with heavy whipping cream and whipped cream on top

1 bite BBQ pork (sample at the market)

1/2 Red Robin Cheddar Cheese and Bacon burger with mayo - no bun or veggies and 5 fries

PLAN:

1/2 cup in shell pistachio's

Carbmaster yogurt - peach

Sirloin steak with coconut thai curry sauce and roasted veggies with cheese

Popcorn with butter

1 chocolate truffle

VITES: On track to get them all in (2 doses down, 2 to go)

EXERCITES: Walked just over 1.5 miles

Note: I am always surprised how sometimes food I typically have no problem with gives me trouble. For example, the burger. I ate almost the identical thing last night, and countless other times - burger patty and I feel fine. But every once in a while it makes me so full I get heartburn and I feel that one more bite would cause me to puke! My theory is that it has to do with the ground meat, but still unsure why it only causes problems sometimes and not always!

I don't think there is any way of knowing with ground beef. I usually do ok with it but it has to be 80x20 and medium rare.

That could be it. At home we use really lean gb because that just how the butcher we use packages it, but I either cook it medium rare or add loads of sauce. When I had half the burger last night from Red Robin it was medium rare, but today I heated it in the microwave, and even though I added mayo it must not have been enough.

Even with the candy it looks like a nicely balanced day.
