In desperate need of a DS surgeon that accepts UHC medicaid in Louisiana

Hi does any one have any information regarding any bariactric doctors who accepts uhc medicaid for the ds surgery? I was sleeve may 2011 and my nut said that the sleeve can be administered as a stand alone, well I have gained back 60 lbs and i am scared can someone please point me into the direction I need to go to connect with a surgeon that will perform the second half of this surgery? thanks

I don't believe there are any.  I think the closest would be in Texas.

Be prepared to travel on this one.  The DS surgeons aren't nearly as plentiful, I'm afraid.

Southern Surgical Hospital in Slidell. I don't have the name of a surgeon yet, just know that someone there is well versed in DS. Not sure if laparoscopic is an option yet either.
