VSG on 03/30/12

Hello. I had the VSG in March of 2012. I just had a revision to a DS on December 10. I was discharged from the hospital Monday morning. Monday night and now Tuesday night I have had very runny stool in my sleep! I am still on the clear liquid phase but has that happened to anyone else??? I haven't "pooped" the bed before! Luckily both nights I was in bed by myself but in 2 weeks or so, my boyfriend will be back.

It's probably more normal than you think. The first couple of weeks can be tough. Sometimes dairy and sugar alcohols can set your system off. When you do start adding foods back in try to stay away from lactose/dairy and gluten/grains as mush as you can to see if that also helps your guts to become more normal.

I ditto that suggestion about dairy -- at least regular milk.  Even at 10 years out, milk does me in.  It has to be cooked and prepared into something else or it gives me the runs.

If you have diarrhea, treat it.
