Post op calorie..fat ..and carb intake
I think your target intake numbers are fine, it's the not pooping that's getting you. You could try to add more fat to your diet and see if that helps.

That's great for 6 weeks. I agree about the fluids and the fats.
The other thing about constipation could be vitamins. Did you start any yet? I started
out with 250mg of magnesium oxide with each calcium dose and that helped me stay regular.
Today, at about 2.5 years I take just one mag oxide a day and, usually but not always, a couple of teaspoons of Benefiber.

If I remember, it was 64oz of water per day after I went home from the hospital. You can add more protein and fat. I only counted the protein that I ate. Egg salad with lots of mayo, tuna salad with lots of mayo, bacon. You only get 50% of the protein and 20% of the fat. So those are pretty much free foods. Carbs are 50% and sugar is 100%. I didn't have any fruit for 4 months. You need more water.
