Hi!

My first accountability post in like 5 years. Better now than never, right? Live and learn, tomorrow is a new day (plus Ill be stocked from the groceries).

I learned that I need to make lower carb lunches. I need to meal prep lunches. I need to cut out the pastries. I am looking into sweet alternatives like protein smoothies and fluff this week. Investing in ziplock containers.

It's a steady process to get back on track.  Good start. Hard to beat down the carbs once you get used to them but worth it.

  • greek yogurt with crushed graham cracker
  • 2 andes mints
  • egg and toast
  • 3 protein shakes
  • salmon and salad
  • carb smart ice cream bar
  • SF popsicles to get the vites down

We walked today. Then walked more taking in the sights. My DS eating plan was whacked, but some how I made it work.

Went to a food truck event. How wonderfully delicious. Had little nibbles here and there as we all shared our food findings:

brisket

chicken pita (no bread for me)

bacon/BBQ/cole slaw burger

funnel cake

Ice cream

double espresso iced  decaf protein  coffee

Antipasto- several cheeses, Italian sausages, olives stuffed with all kinds of goodies

toppings off pepperoni pizza 

Double espresso decaf coffee protein

animal crackers

TGIF. Been along week.

 

Bites:

B - chicken strips
S - crackers
L - cottage cheese and sunflower seeds
S- bologna and cheese
D - chicken thighs and broccoli (hey a veggie made itsw way in  )
S - chicken strips
S2 - combos cheese filled crackers
S3 - chicken strips

Vits - all in eventually. Having a little bit of a hard time changing my schedule for an additional calcium dose.

Exercites:  More bike riding. A little sore I went a little further out than I planned but hit 20 miles so maybe it was worth it.
