I know that title is a wee bit inflammatory butt it is true nonetheless.

I have been looking for nutrition plans to transition to following ds for long term success.  I've gone from vegetarianism to Atkins to paleo.  I finally figured out that the key is to keep doing what I was doing immediately post surgery. That road to success is well traveled by fellow D's vets.  So the answer is really ass.  Or in this case Amazingly Simple Stupid.  Keep on doing what I've been doing and getting what I've been getting.  The DS nutrition plan...

The early menu's always work best for me too. At 2+ years I'm looking to add more vegetables and fruit. I was wondering what you see as the difference between DS nutrition and Atkins. My pre-op memory of Atkins is that it was just a little more  carby than my initial DS diet. Just wondering since I'm making up some modifications to my diet kind of off the cuff.
