Surgery buddy for ds in mexico

i am going to dr Ungson in July and would love to have a surgery buddy. I plan on being revised from sleeve to the ds.

Wish I could join you... From what I've learned, Ungson does not do the RNY to DS revision that I need so I will have to travel a bit farther if I elect to go out of country.

I do wish you the best though and look forward to all your updates! I know he has a tremendous reputation and you should be very well taken care of according to other's reports.

When are you going? I'm set for Dr. Ungson on 7/16, so I'll be arriving on 7/15 for scans and bloodwork. I had a vsg in July 2010 and lost 100lbs, then had a baby in 2014, and now can't lose the baby weight. I guess it depends on what scans of my sleeve show if I'll just be re-sleeved or if I will have a DS with sleeve repair.

I'm not worried about going to Mexico or the surgery. I'm more worried having to make the trip back myself after just having surgery! I live in Mississippi, you?
