Gina, I need to drop 10 pounds, so High protein and low carbs should do the trick...righhhh.  Am I missing anything else?  I keep forgetting preweight loss methods no longer work.  I tried a veggie soup diet yesterday...and nothing this morning really.  How many carbs and protein when cutting back per day???

I think the hardest part is reducing the volume of how much we eat the further out we get, but yes, low carb and high protein with lots of plain water should do it. I aim for about 50 - 75 grams of carbs when I'm really buckling down to lose a few added pounds. See my Bites for today and you'll what it takes for me. This was a successful day.

Yes it seem like we have a bottomless stomach, that we can keep eating and eating.     I can eat more, but eliminating the sugar helps with the restraint.  That sugar and bread is like crack. It causes you to easily get out of control, and starting off the day with protein really helps.

I have a feeling my PCOS that gotten out of whack due to me getting on my some BC is causing the weight gain, the constipation, and the water retention.  I'm going to have to check it out.  I'm thinking it also causes me to want to go to sleep early in the evening.
