Dr. David Kim

Has anyone had Dr. Kim from Dallas, TX perform their DS or even better, a VSG to DS revision?

He did my VSG in 2010. I originally lost around 70 pounds and have gained back 50 and have struggled to handle this on my own with little to no success, just a lot of frustration. I traveled to TX, so I have had no follow-up. I am self-pay and I am wondering if it would be less costly to have him revise me rather than another surgeon. But, I want the best, or at least one of the best. If someone is going to be rearranging my insides I want to know I have one of the best.

Obviously, I will have to get info on cost from him, right now I just want to know how you are doing if he did your DS.

I called Dr. Kim's office last summer and was told he does not do revisions.  If you wanna do it in Dallas, you might call Dr. Ayoola's office. He's the doc who was trained by Dr. Daryl Stewart in Denton.  Dr. Stewart did revisions, so maybe Dr. Ayoola does too.  Might check him out.
