Post-hysterectomy Stall

Ladies, I need some input.

I had a total abdominal hysterectomy in December when I was about 15 months out from my duodenal switch. Since that surgery, my weight loss has come to a screeching halt. I managed to lose the 10 pounds of post-surgery weight, but I have been stuck at the same weight since January.

I maintain a high protein, high fat, low carb plan with lots of water. I admit to not exercising, but I do not seem to have the energy for it. I also admit that my supplementation this month has been spotty, but I am in the process of resolving that.

Is it possible that I still have water-retaining inflammation from the hysterectomy? If so, how long does it last? Is there something I can do to combat this issue and get my weight loss back on track? I am afraid I will never lose these last 30 pounds all because of that stupid surgery.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I was already at goal when I had a hysti but I didn't have regain from it. Have you had your labs done lately? Maybe the lack of energy is iron or vitamin related. Keep walking or doing whatever low impact exercise you can tolerate, it will keep your metabolism up. Good luck!

It may also be the close of your honeymoon period.  It was around the same time post op that my weight loss was just about stopped, too.
