Wow!  What kind of pre-emptive doses do you take of the above stuff?

I was both relieved and sad to hear that you stopped your calcium patch trial.  Relieved because I didn't want anything bad to happen to you, but I am so curious if the patches might work.  I would not trade my DS and pounds lost for it, but it would be nice not to have to worry about what my colon is doing so much.

Well I read a pretty convincing article that said for proper bone health calcium had to be absorbed in the gut.

That made me nervous.

ill have to dig up that article.

I take a mag oxide capsule with every Calcium throughout the day. But if it is the calcium citrate binding you up you might want to try calcium hydroxyapatite. It doesn't seem to cause the constipation that citrate does. You really need to figure something out because constipation can cause anal fissures which you really don't want!!!

Thank you for the advise!  I took (1) 250 tablet with each calcium yesterday and then (2) tablets before bed.  Woke up, had my coffee and wala.....then wala again!!  I'm thinking the magnesium oxide is working for me!  Ill keep it up and see if this amount works for me or adjust it if necessary.

I've learned that I can't let it go, but I'm learning!!!
