Question - I see you had surgery with Dr Roslin in July 14, and I did also in Nov 14. Since he's a DS expert, I went to him for the DS and he recommended a SADi as best option, which I'm very happy with. Did he also suggest a SADi for you, or since you had a revision surgery, was there a benefit to performing the standard DS procedure.
Wrong person to ask. This is a sore subject for me. I went to him for a ds and he tried without telling me to do a sadi. I had not heard of the sadi as it was just getting started. Luckily for me a saw ppl saying that drs were doing this sadi and not telling patients so i pushed him on it and found out he was planning on doing the sadi without my knowledge. . I almost cancelled cause i was afraid he was going to do it anyways. But had a tight time frame where i could get this done so instead i checked with him every second. Your doing the full ds not the sadi right.. the first thing i said when i woke up was you did the full ds. I still didn't believe soo ordered my report and yes he did a full ds. I believe because i was a revision he wanted to do the sadi as less chance of things going wrong a nd since a revision already is harder it may have been easier for him. I went to him cause he wad the best on the east coast and i was not interested in easy eas interested in his expertise doing a full ds. He calls me cherylbaker the touchdown maker since everything went beautifully.. very happy with my resilts.. never thought i would get to my long term goal and yet here i am 8 months post op and within 3lbs of that goal.
