Mortified!!

Well, I know that all of you are the only people that would understand and sadly laugh with (and at) me.  I have been dating and met a really nice guy.  He just spent $350.00 on a beautiful and romantic dinner for the two of us at one of NYC's most revered restaurants.  I'm almost two years out and sometimes forget that I have to be careful re tough meats.  So, we were in a taxi after dinner and I knew I had to regurgitate!!  I kept trying to distract myself, undo my seat belt etc.. but we all know that sick feeling right before we throw up.  Luckily he had a cup in his hands as we were sharing some ice cream.  It was like I was watching myself in slow motion...felt it coming...and knew I was at the point of no return.  I grabbed the cup and regurgitated just a little!!  Enough for some relief.  I was sooooo mortified!  He was a complete gentleman (even though he was surprised, literally!).  I blamed it on the oysters and started another conversation.  He did kiss me afterwards so maybe all will be good.  How EMBARRASSING!

Still I love my DS!

Had to share with all of you :).

Thanks Gina!  I think he may be a keeper.  We'll see :).

If you want to be sure he's a keeper, insist on a French kiss next time.

I've had woman vomit on me on first dates before. Sadly, it's not as uncommon as you think. Nerves, etc.
