Yet another question for the vets!!
In regards to protein intake, I was told 30 grams by 30 days, 60 grams by 60 days and 90 grams by 90 days.... well in two days I will be three months out and I am wondering what the vets suggest for protein intake for past 90 days and beyond, throughout the weight loss stage. I would GREATLY appreciate your input!!!
I'm 6 yrs out. Most of my protein comes from whey isolate protein powder. For years I did 120 grams plus whatever real food I ate. Just recently, I added another protein coffee making my daily total 150 grams plus food.
I have read about folks who can consume 200 gr per day with food only. I think that may be a bit on the rare side, or I am just jealous. LOL.

I am in no way a "vet" as I am only 7 months out, however I was told to get 90 grams ASAP and stick with it. I was able to hit that after the first week. When I had my blood checked at 6 months my protein level was great. My goal is still 90 grams a day, although since I am eating more calories I tend to get between 90-110 a day. 30 grams of that is from a protein shake that I drink each morning. The rest is food. I aim for 1,250 calories a day (I get between 900-1,400) and am still loosing about 2 pounds a week. I can see how my protein will naturally increase as I start eating more.
Keep up the great work.

I shoot for between 140 and 160 a day. I occasionally end up on either side but
mostly in that range.
For a while there was talk about extending that 30,60,90 advice to add a 4 month ending
with 120. I think at that point you really have to take into account your body size, weight
to lose, and activity level.
