Oops! I posted today's plans on Sundays.  I would love to know what you put in your vegetable soup.  I miss soup and stew and have been thinking about making one.

When I was making veggie beef soup as a newbie I would leave out the potatoes but basically its chuck roast, carrots, celery, baby lima beans, okra, tomatoes, V8 juice.

Hello,

I wonder if you could tell me how you make your protein coffee? I have tried and it was a disaster, went all clumpy and tasted awful.

Here's mine:

Brew a pot of your favorite coffee or chai tea
In a 20 ounce blender bottle with wire ball add 3 oz of heavy whipping cream, 3 oz of cool water, a dash of cinnamon, a packet or two of Truvia or other sweetener, and one heaping scoop of vanilla whey protein isolate powder such as Syntrax Nectar vanilla bean torte. 
Cover and shake for 5 seconds to blend.
Top off the blender bottle with hot brewed coffee or chai tea.
Cover and tilt gently to mix.  (Don't shake a hot beverage vigorously--it can explode) 

Always add hot liquid on top of cool protein slurry to keep it from cooking and clumping.

We've only gotten a couple inches out here. It seems it was snowing all around us but not right here. Let me know how much you got up there.

I am working graveyard shift so my schedule is kind of crazy
