I don't use breadcrumbs but I do use a little oatmeal. There are some good meatloaf recipes on the low carb web sites that don't use any breadcrumbs or oatmeal filler that I've tried and liked.

Oh okay thanks!  I have a homemade meatball recipe that I love but it has rice in it.   I tried and I couldn't eat it, made me too full and miserable (only ate one).  Thinking of making it without the rice.  I will look up the meatloaf recipe.

Since surgery the only hamburger I can eat has to be at least 80% lean / 20% fat.  Anything more lean and I just can't eat it.
