I cut out milk. That was my biggest culprit (darn lattes)!!!
I also stopped snacking mindlessly. I only snack on things like nuts and I love pumpkin seeds. I like the Mens Health Nutrition packs from planters - nope not a guy. But only eat 1 pack a day, as its 7 or 8 carbs. Pumpkin seeds are my new favorite snack, in a 2.25oz package there is 15g protein and only 2 carbs! Ill also snack on cheese.
