First off, I know that I am doing the wrong thing watching the scale so much - but I can't help it!!  I am 25 days out and I knocked out 20 pounds the first 2.5 weeks.  Now I am fluctuating up and down (daily) by 4-5 pounds and this has gone on for over 10 days.

I have checked my water (64 oz), my protein (90 grams), my carbs (

I am most definitely not an expert, but I've researched the same problem. I am one month post op and the first two weeks I lost 30 lbs, and then didn't lose anything for a week and then another 10 lbs the next week and now I have stopped losing again. From what I read, it's perfectly normal. You aren't doing anything wrong. Your body has gone through a shock, and losing 20 lbs in a few weeks is a lot. Your body needs time to catch up to that significant weight loss. You will lose again, trust me. I know it's very frustrating, but just keep reminding yourself that 20 lbs is a big number to lose in such a short period! Congratulations!

Annoying, but totally normal. I thought I was lucky and missed that 3 week stall - but in reality my body was just a week behind. I lost nothing for almost 2 weeks. My clothes were still fitting differently, so I knew things were shifting but it was still frustrating not to see the scale move.

I haven't done this yet, but you can always take some measurements. When the scale's not moving, you'll probably see some progress in losing inches.
