I am about 15 months out of DS surgery and am no having trouble with liquid .. of all things. For the past 2 nights i have had an issue with liquid and i am getting concerned. Last night i had some chicken noodle soup and got a "full" feeling very quickly. i ended up getting sick and then feeling better .. not dumping, but just felt way too full like i had over eaten and i know i didnt because it was such a small amount. Tonight it was milk. literally like 2 drinks of milk and the same thing happened.. I"m worried something might be really wrong. I have no pain at all except a painful full feeling, and can seem to tolerate regular food fine, but much smaller amounts. i know it sounds crazy.. but thats why i came here to ask what in the world could be causing this ? anyone have any ideas ?

Hmmm, it may be worth a call to the doc.  Some things come to mind:

Acid Refux

Lactose intolerance (but that doesn't explain the effect with chicken noodle soup)

No real help here. Just wishing you feel better soon.

Sometimes there are tiny tummy days but this sounds a little different.
I would give it another day or two and if it is still a problem go to the Doc
to see if they have any thoughts.

interesting, just the last 2 days, before that you were ok?  so you have not been drinking at all in the last 2 days, you will get dehydrated shortly, be careful.  so no issues with solids, just liquids, that is very very intersting.  you said that you can tolerate regular food fine, but much smaller amounts, if you are 15 months out and you are eating less now than you did lets say at 6 months, I would be concerned, call your surgeon, tell him/her what is going on and maybe they will have you go in for a UGI....hope you feel better and let us know....dont take any chances...
