A couple of people asked for this recipe so here it is:

ingredients: 2 pks regular cream cheese softened, 1 chub of spicy ground sausage browned, 1 1/2 lbs bacon fried and cut into pieces, 2 c shredded Mozzarella, 2 c shredded Mexican Blend, 12 eggs.

Layer in a 13x9 casserole dish: cream cheese, sausage, Mozzarella, bacon, Mexican blend. Whip eggs and pour over top.

Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.

I nuke the leftovers one serving at a time.

Enjoy!

I might eat this if it was there and ready to go.  I wonder if you can just dump everything in the food processor and whirl it up...  Might have to try that!

Hey Patty. I know it looks like a lot of trouble but since I eat on it for days I find it worth it. I only make it about once a month. I really enjoy it or I wouldn't go to the trouble and expense.

Yes. Brown the sausage and cook the bacon before putting together the casserole. The cream cheese has to be room temp so you can spread it on the bottom of the baking dish. I spray the dish with spray cooking oil first. Hope this helps.

It IS delicious. It is your standard ground sausage. 1 lb?

I was so excited I made it lastnight.....it was delicious!  Thanks so much.  I would be interested in other recipes I can make ahead of time and have on hand like this one.
