Starting journey for revision from RNY to DS - help!

Hi! I have been back from Mexico (RNY revised to a DS) for 2 weeks and have lost 10 lbs. I feel great. I only have 20 left to lose and I will be happy. Going to Mexico alone was not fun, the hotel was beautiful of course but not much you can do when you have 5 incisions. Having a revision to lose 30 lbs in in another country with a language barrier, while paying cash = crazy to almost anyone who knows about it. I have always felt that something with my RNY was off. If fact, the surgeon verified while there that my RNY was not done properly and my insides were a mess. Nothing was where it was supposed to be. Oddly I now feel justified knowing this info. My doctor in Mexico was Dr Jose Castaneda Cruz and he was wonderful. I have no regrets :)

The things that make you gassy with RNY are probably the same with DS.  I have a giant poop every morning and I'm done for the day.that's it!  I do eat every couple of hours, a little something - never count calories, fat, or even carbs (although I am mindful of them).  All I cound 9 yrs later is protein, to make sure I get plenty in the day.  I found it to be easy to live with.
