I am amazed when I read what you are able to eat.  I am amazed that you can eat the amount that you do and the variety is really great.  I am envious as I am only four and a half months out and still only able to eat very small amounts at a time.  My menu is also very limited still at this point. (by my own choice mostly not surgeon) Have you had any trouble maintaining your weight with the way you eat? I am excited to lose the rest of my weight and get to maintenance to allow my self more freedom with food.  Right now I am still very strict most of the time, protein protein protein!

I was the same as you for a long time.  I try to use protein shakes to keep my sleeve small because I can definitely eat too much too often now. I've maintained pretty well but could stand to lose about 5 pounds now. I'm 7 years post-op.
Keep up the good work. You're doing great!

Thank you for responding. I am doing great (hit 100 lbs. lost today) surgery was 6-13-14.  However, I sometimes miss being able to eat certain things ( hated missing the fresh fruit over summer)and getting bored with the few things I eat. Typical day: protein shake for breakfast, nuts or jerky for snack, greek yogurt or boiled egg for lunch, nuts or jerky for snack, small piece of chicken for dinner (one chicken tender) or sometimes substitute a few shrimp lately.  I have had a few wheat thins or pita chips with hummus or laughing cow cheese a few times to change it up the past few weeks. I always read what others eat to try and get new ideas.

I'm nine years out and I can eat anything, I am a lucky one. I maintain my weight but I also try to exercise regularly to. Keep  up the great work at protein, protein, protein, it is an amazing process.
