Duodenal Switch and other medical conditions: Celiac Disease?

HI all! It's been a number of years since I've stopped by here. Howdy those *****member me, I hope you've been well!
I'm wondering if there are those of you out there that have had the DS and also have Celiac disease. It seems I'm facing this now. Lifestyle? What's it been like for you? Correlations or have you had trouble with diagnosis, like I have, because you have the DS? Testing for celiac is not so easy since docs don't quite get that your intestines function differently.

Hi there!  I was diagnosed with Celiac as a young kid and the intestinal issues got better in my twenties. However, with the DS I react poorly to whole wheat and some other whole grains. I just avoid the obvious ones but don't have to worry about the cross-contamination anymore. I'm sure I'm one of the lucky ones, others with Celiac have to be very strict with any form of gluten no matter how small.
