I am seriously considering a revision from a sleeve to a DS. Most of the wrok is already done, so it seems like the obvious choice. I had my sleeve 3 yrs ago and have regained about half of the 90lbs I lost :( How much regain have you experienced from your DS? I would be what would be considered a lightweight for a DS, but my Dr says it is appropriate for me. Thanks

I lost about 140lbs, (which was too much), and have regained about 30. It took about 3 years to regain my weight, but now I'm at a healthy 185. At 5'10", I'm where my Doctors say I should be.

I am 4years and 4 months out, and I have gained 16 pounds from my lightest.  But to tell you the truth I was only at my lightest maybe for 6 months, and comfortably went down to 174.

I would be wondering what was going on, because I noticed this surgery is very tempermental.  Are you taking the RIGHT probiotic for you.  I tried some new stuff that had about 25 billion of good bacter, that stuff threw my body out of WHACK...gained weight, but once I went back to my low dosage of bacteria my body is slowing getting back to its rhythem, and lost the weight.

My DS is definitely still working, you have to find out what is the culprit and what works for YOUR body, to get the malabsorption to kick back in real good.
