Help Explaining the DS to people.

I was wondering if anyone has an easy way of explaining the DS operation to someone that knows nothing about weight loss surgery. It seems like there is so much to explain to them, that they wouldn't fully understand.

"75% of my stomach has been removed and I'm only using around 3ft of the average 26 feet of small intestine."

Wow, That pretty much sums it up!!

I carry a card in my wallet that has a diagram of the DS on it. Most helpful with medical people! For non-medical people, I say basically what Val said.
