I live in Omaha, NE, and doctor Anthone's associate did my VSG in May 2013.  I also happen to work for the health system that Dr. Anthone is a part of so I'm a bit biased.  I believe him to be an excellent surgeon and he knows his stuff.  You will get fantastic care at the hospital while you're there.

Travel to Omaha - used to be able to get $99 flights to omaha don't get their adverts where I live now. I had a 700cm small bowel, and now have 200cm I think. I had begged him for 150cm but his formula is his goal. Also took 3 hours for my knee surgery and he did my DS open, in an hour or two

ummmm

Hi,

pastor loran did you have the DS twice? Omaha will not accept my insurance or Doctor K. Because it out of state. Now I am left out on what to do next. I asked for private pay I was even more surprise when they told me although I already have the Ds the price will be the same. I guess Medicaid or Obama care here I come no other way :) we don't have Ds surgeon in nevada so I will try to contact I guess medicaid and explain my situation hope I will get cover from then not sure how to do this.

No just once. I had to get poor enough to qualify for Medicaid. Now Medicaid is Aetna/cvs, they are a pain. Terrible payment rates so most doctors that aren't required to have x% of Medicaid/Aetna won't take you unless a family member is with them already.

Your dr has to put you on a diet acceptable to Medicaid for 3 - 12 months before they will pay(good old days) not sure how bomacare changed that. At some point you have to see the surgeons presentation and it all has to work together. Was a pain probably worse now
