Hello,neighbor
well we just moved here from Illinois and I been looking to do a revision base on my previous surgery I did question my surgeons work it did not make any sense at all to lose 28 pound in two month then no more. Well how good is Dr K. Can you tell me. I will inbox you my phone number so we can talk
thanks
Dr. Anthone has an excellent reputation, but so does Dr. Keshishian and he'd be much closer to home for you. And whatever surgeon you end up with, have your sleeve checked before you have any surgery to determine whether or not it has stretched out, or maybe isn't shaped correctly to start with. If so, get it fixed at the same time as you get your DS. It seems odd to me that you lost so little weight. The big problem with the sleeve usually isn't weight loss, it's the frequent regain after a few years when the sleeve stretches out.

Thank you for the reply yes after two month according to my surgeon that my sleeve did stretch I though it was very ad stretch ? In two month. I later, learn that he was not very experience with the procedure.that when I decided no more apprentice surgeon I needed an expert. I will check dr K as well
thanks
Dr Anthone is one of the best. When I had my DS 5 years ago he had done 3000 DS's surgeries. Last 600 without fatality. Average morbidity at the time was 1-2%. Lost 125 from from my highest and have stayed close to that. He has a formula for his surgery sizes (stomach, small intestine etc) and he doesn't budge BUT, have not had much trouble with vitamin deficiency or that so.... Would have liked to lose 10 more lbs but worth it to not spend $100 a month on vitamins

Pastor Loran,
thanks for the reply it been a big debate between me and my husband he want me to go with Dr Anthone because of his technique so I don't have to take 30 or 40 vitamin a day but his way to far from us that was my only issue. I decided to let God and the universe to work on it. I will submitted both place and see who will give me the most common channel because the past two surgery I struggle with restriction.
thanks
Dr Keshishian did my VSG to DS revision in January of this year. I can not recommend him highly enough. He is a brilliant surgeon as well as being a wonderful, kind man.
I was concerned that my sleeve may have stretched (which it had at the top) and Dr K was willing/able to address that with the revision.
I traveled by myself from northern California to work with him and his staff made everything so easy. The staff at Verdugo Hills Hospital were great, as were the staff at the Comfort Inn they recommended (reduced rate).
Here is his website: http://www.dssurgery.com/
Sounds like you'll be in good hands no matter which doctor you choose but I'd recommend make it easy on yourself and keep your return trip as short as possible.
Good luck!

Thank you so much for the reply. My only concern with him was the fee. I over heard that he did charge like 4000$ up front is that right? If so why not just be self pay and get it over that was my only concern. But I was advise by a very nice senior Dser see above reply to go with him as well. Therefore, your reply also conclude I should go with him specially with the two weeks stay. I did send them copy of my insurance they will reply in two days. Are you loosing weight. ? Is it slow or you loosing fast what was the common channel he gave you?
thank you
