I did a lot of research a few years back when I got tired of unclogging tenants' toilets. I forget where I found it, but there was a whole scientific study comparing different toilets. They designed fake poo, using sausage casing and some composite material to simulate the real thing. The units I ended up getting are Gerber power assist. I haven't plunged one single time since.
