I am nine  weeks out from ds surgery and was doing great with the weight loss the first 8 weeks (60 lbs.).  Then it stopped, I havent lost anything all week......stalled. Is this normal? I am very discouraged.

stalls suck but they are common. Just make sure you are getting in as much protein as you can and keep the carbs super low. The more protein I eat the more I lose still at a little over a year out. The stalls will happen though don't get discouraged. I never thought I'd lose 170 especially when the damn stall****

Yep stalls happens, early on I had one week I gain 8 lbs but then the next week I lost that plus 4 or 5 more, so week to week can be all over the place. You will have stalls I have had them last 5 weeks then boom lost 10 lbs in less then 3 weeks.

I had my DS April 22, 2013.  I lost a lot of weight until November, 2013.  I was stalled for 4 months.  I would lose a pound and gain a pound.  For no apparent reason, the weight started coming off again and I am 19 pounds from goal.

I can go about three weeks between loses now.... But in the past would have a week or two pop up with no loss also... Just stay steady with your protein, water and vites and it will happen... Good luck

Time to try on new clothes.  It's a mood lifter when these occur.
