Question. . I check out these threads quite often and honestly the eating patterns in them seem odd. . Is this really how most ds people eat? And when did you start eating like this?

If you're talking about all my shakes, I tried to reduce them but my protein and albumin dropped, so the dietitian put me back on them. I've always been a grazer and not willing to change. When I went in for my initial consult, they determined I was getting most of my calories as snacks rather than meals and recommended the DS since it's the most difficult to out eat.

I wasn't just talking about your shakes. . I just figured that was your choice.  I'm more talking about all the weird things.  Ice Cream.. Sandwiches pickles.. Seems Like Most Posts I've Seen Are Like People Snacking All day.. (DUNNO Why All My Words Have The First Letter capitalized)..

I know Susan is many years out and can tolerate the variety of food in her diet.  She also is good about exercising and using a personal trainer.

Over the years I've read people having leftover meatballs, or making a pot roast sandwich for breakfast. I figure, any way you can get your protein in is good.

Me, personally, I graze all day long. I may eat 10 slices of turkey bacon and 2 cheddar cheese sticks for breakfast. That usually takes an hour.  The almonds I snack on, are maybe 1/4 cup and they are eaten one at a time all afternoon long.

Hubs and I dearly love breakfast,so we tend to fix it for dinner just about every week.

I love my DS, it affords me to eat strange food combos, at strange times of the day.   People look at me and know this must work since I've lost over 200#s.

We're having a good time so far. We hit the golf course first thing and made a tee time for Mon when we got through. I'm reading and napping when we're in the room...pure relaxation.  : )
