Dr. Ara Kesheshian a DS surgeon that is very involved in the community has been giving webinars on different topics.

The latest is about vitamin D and a recap can be found here:
http://blog.dssurgery.com/2014/08/august-6-2014-group-meeting-recap.html

The deficiency and insufficiency levels he sites are new ones put out by the endocrinology ?? something or other (sorry). It is
one of the profession associations that looks at what the correct levels are - they are less concerned about optimum levels then defining what is too low. The target levels are the Doctor K's best guess from
studies and extrapolation as to what would be the best for DS patients.

Enjoy.

Thanks, Pete! I struggle with Vitamin D, because a prescription I take "eats" (catabolizes) Vitamin D.

I take 100,000 IU a day, and I'm having my full labs drawn tomorrow, so we'll see if that has solved the problem.
