Have you tried meat roll ups, tuna, chicken, eggs, low carb yogurt, etc. Doesn't have to be shakes...

I had a weight gain at three years out and went to talke to my NUT. The one thing she stressed was not to drink protein shakes. Once you are able to eat solid foods, that is where to get your protein. The only way I lose weight is to weigh myself daily and to count calories. I only lose at 800-900 calories a day. That takes off a pound a week for me.

Couldn't help but notice the NUT told you not to use shakes. I think the whole idea for DSers is to get all your protein from solid foods, at least, that's what the little instruction binder they gave me said. Nevertheless, I'm a hyper-malabsorber (75cm CC) *****fuses to have a revision, so I put in the work to make sure I get all my vites, minerals and protein in. I can't absorb all my protein from food, so that is why I use shakes along with food. It's like a protein insurance policy.
White Dove.... It is not uncommon for DSers to get their protein from shakes and still eat their protein as well especially those who are not major meat eaters. I have a 75CC as well and it is very hard for me to get all my protein from just eating. I drink two to three shakes a day and eat about 8 times a day. I still lose. DSers do not count calories like other WLS patients do. RNY mal-absorption is not the same as DS mal-absorption. Some DSers can eat up to 3000 calories a day and maintain their weight. Some actually have to eat that much to keep from losing too much. Please read up at DSfacts.com for more DS information. Eating 800-900 calories a day is dangerous for someone with the DS and can cause mal-nutrition and mess your metabolism up.
The one flavored protein powder that I like is Syntrax Nectar Fuzzy Navel. Otherwise, I use unflavored whey protein isolate, assorted flavor extracts not SF syrups, although you can if you like, the extracts are cheaper in the long-run for me, along with your artificial sweetener of choice. Plus, with extracts, you have a nearly endless variety of flavors, since you can mix them - for example, Banana-coconut-pineapple (fake Pina Colada) or any other combination you might like. They last a long time, since you are only using a few drops at a time. Flavor to your own taste.
