Depression Medications

I had the DS 12 years ago. I am now struggling with depression and realized my doctor just ordered cymbalta extended release which is not working, wondering if there is a list of medication for depression/anxiety that is absorbed more readily and works with the DD. Thank you!

I'm on 45mg of Remeron. Seems to help some.

I guess what I am asking is - is extended release medication always a problem or does our bodies adjust over time?

I have been on Cymbalta for awhile, do not have any problems. But after doctor added Abilify, I felt better.

I have no experence with anti-depressants but have always understood extended release meds should be avoided by DSers as we do not get the full results.
