Lab work question
Everything was within the normal range besides Creatinine, Alkaline Phosphatase, and Anion Gap. What do you suggest I up or add. I'm pre-op. (VSG to DS.) I was feeling very tired last week, so what I started doing was taking my vitamins, especially iron. I currently take B12, the iron, a multi, and occasionally calcium.
Sometimes just being in range isn't good enough. Here are a couple of links to Vitalady's ideas that might help you make some decisions about how to address your labs, supplementation and nutrition to get the best lab results. The creatinine issue may indicate dehydration. I don't about the other 2 they seem more medical. A good website to read up on the various labs is www.labtestsonline.org.

Once you start getting labs back you should adjust your supplementation a little up or down. I would use Vitalady's products because she has tested them all and finds they are the best quality, the specific version of a vitamin or mineral DSrs need, and most economical she can find.
