Sugery tomorrow!
My day is almost here! In some ways I feel like I have been waiting forever and others I feel like it came so fast, but tomorrow I will finally be on the other side of WLS and I'm so excited, nervous, you name the emotion I probably have it. I feel prepared but I'm sure I will find out I am not as prepared as I thought. Any last minute advice?
Yesterday I had to start a bowel cleanse and clear liquid diet, needless to stay I stayed home from work. For those of you that had to do a liquid diet for 2 weeks, I applaud you, yesterday was so hard, as I still had to cook for my son. I am hoping today will be better.
All the best for an easy surgery and recovery. I look forward to hearing from you on the other side.

Happy to hear that your surgery went well. I am hoping to have surgery in five to six weeks. Did you experience much pain after surgery? I'm guessing that you are able to get up and walk to the rest room after surgery or is post op pain too bad to be getting up and moving around? I really don't know what to expect. Has the doctor told you how long you will have to be on liquids before your stomach will be able to handle soft foods? I hope that when you feel up to it you might be willing to share your experiences and thoughts with me. It would be much appreciated. I will be praying for your full and speedy recovery.
