So I had to travel for my surgery as well, and I overpacked something fierce!!! Just bring enough baggy comfy clothes to recover in, a good pillow, and some quality movies!!!

Hurrah!!! I didn't travel so I'm not much help there. Most everything I took to the hospital I barely used for
the 3 days I was there.

Lip balm is always a safe bet.

Oh this is so cool! I will see you there!

We can smimace (smile + grimace) at each other as we do our laps and think what it was like to be sitting at our desks dreaming about it.

Right now I'm a bit freaked at the pre-op diets. I just realized that my morning coffee w/ protein is half of my allowed 30 carbs. ZIKES!!

In addition to a sleeping pillow I brought a throw/blanket that I always sleep with...really helped with falling to sleep! Also agree, do not bring anything except baggy light clothing that you can throw out if needed after your hospital stay.
