The day before my weight loss surgery

Its 24 hours before my surgery, I am a little scared and I also eat half a pretzel.  I hope I'm doing the right thing. Now, I am worried about eating the half pretzel and what could happen in surgery.

Ok so I'm 13 hrs from my surgery and I haven't eaten anything for 21 hrs and I'm still scared about surgery. .:)

this is also my 2nd weight loss surgery.  Bypass 2004 lost 300 pounds and maintain 200 pounds for 8 years.  We are both scared but we both will be ok.

you will be fine.  the reason for the fast before surgery is mostly to shrink the liver so it doesn't get in the way.  My guess is, that one itty bitty half a pretzel isn't going to matter at all, it is mostly sugars anyways, which metabolize quickly.  Just don't eat the other half, let go of the guilt, and don't worry about a thing :)
