transfusions will help.

Thanks for the good thoughts. They found C-diff in stool, probably contracted at CA hospital 2 wks ago. Am on something w/flagyl plus pain meds and transfusions. Feelin better. Red cells dropped to 5.5 between tues and hospital admit on wed. Up to8 just before this last unit.

Keep in mind that the tranfusions are what is causing your hemoglobin to increase. It is probably not your body working to rebuild them or stop their destruction. The transfusions will help you feel better and keep you healthier why they diagnose the treatment.
