I will be 6 weeks out on Thursday. I went to my appointment today and have lost 33 pounds since surgery. That puts me at a total 63 since Mid April.  My first minor goal is to be what I was after I had my first child way back when I was 16. I have 28 pounds til I get there! I am so excited to almost be back to that. I dropped 3 pant sizes already!! I was taken off all food consistency restrictions.  I am so ready for some bacon!!

You're doing great. Congrats!!

At 6 weeks be a little cautious with the high fat foods like bacon, maybe just a couple of slices . You still might be sensitive to different foods for
a while. Don't forget to hydrate. :)

I can barely get more than 3 bites in, so if I do get some bacon it will be a tiny amount. Probably wont be able to manage a whole piece.

Hydration is my best friend. Anything under 90oz and im in the er. The 64 recommended didnt do it for me. I was almost passing out daily until I bumped it up.
