Absorption percentages

Does anyone have a pretty accurate list of the percentages of what we absorb? I've had a 25 lb bounce back in the last 2 years, and I have to get my butt in gear and try to lose it, but I am not 100% sure on what I absorb the most. I want to make sure I stay far away from it!

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

I have always been told that we aborb 50% of protein, 20% of fat and !00% of carbs.

Good luck!  :)

I think that it is important to track EVERYTHING you eat instead of focusing on the percentages.  It is not always a 100% guarantee what exactly your body is absorbing or not absorbing.  If you eat it, it counts.  That has been my mentality for the last 4 years.  REALLY focus on the naughty things that have found their way back into your life and how to replace them with better choices or how to phase them out completely.

If you need ANY assistance at all please do not hesitate to ask! GOOD LUCK!

Back to basics - protein, protein, protein.  Keep carbs to 25-50 daily.  You can walk or exercise.  Keep a log of everything you eat.  Eliminate most carbs, sugar, fruit, starchy veggies.
