I'm a fan of looking for DS information in as many different places as I can. I think you can
easily get into trouble by getting information from a small number of the same people. I don;t know Dr. K
and I am not one of his patients. There just seems to be some well thought out information available from him.

Dr. Keshishian is a well regarded DS surgeon. You will often see his name mentioned when people talk about
revisions.

I recently attended a webinar he put on in conjunction with a live meeting of post ops he held in California.
I thought the information he gave was all pretty sound and reasonable, even the things I choose to ignore.
First the links then I will high light some points from the webinar.

This is his most current blog post about protein - a little heavy of a go but interesting.

His web site is - http://www.dssurgery.com/

Now to some points of the webinar.
Diet - liquids, protein, and then everything else. With everything else graded bu stuff "closer to the earth" better.
Which really amounts to the less processed your additional food the better.

High fat consumption. Do what works for your body but there is no anatomical reason for or against a very high fat diet. If it
gives you diarrhea that that is too much.

Carbonated drinks and   artificial sweeteners should only be taken in moderation. My current vice is crystal light so this is
something I think might be reasonable but choose to ignore.

He talked about the increase in the villi of the common channel over time. He compared it to exercising just one arm. The muscles
in that arm get stronger. The timeline of what he has seen is in the 5 - 10 year range and in his opinion the increase absorption isn't
a drastic increase.

Very much of the opinion that people are different and you have to be willing to adjust from person to person and also to
be aware of the need to adjust over time. What worked the first 5 years may not continue to work because your body naturally changes
over time.

I'll post when I see the next webinar scheduled. It was interesting to interact with people in real time. It was only yhe second one
they tried so still some glitches but I liked it.

Lastly, I've listed points as I remember them. If anyone thinks I didn't get something right please post as these are only my own impressions
and I can make as many mistakes as the next person. :) Maybe more some times.

Sometimes I go from too much information to too little so I'm glad if it helps anyone.
