MRI NIGHTMARE Small bowel Intusseption problem continued

Sunday, still in hospital. Lots of pain. Liver enzymes elevated. Sent for mri. I normally have no mri probs. Had 5 face / neck this year including a 3 tesla. All of my abdomen things since ds have been cat scans. I had a repair/new staples at joining to common channel 2 mo ago. The liver mri was a nightmare. They're saying panic attack, and maybe it was but i had horrible pain in my right groin, then both, then down the inside of my thighs, down back of legs and fee still feel like pins & needles. So do hands. Also, my neck and lower jaw. It thrust out my lower jaw, which is still tight. Anyone else react this way to abdominal MRI after DS? I had the exact same study on this same liver abdominal area in 2005 well before DS and had no problems with the mri. I suspect I should not have abdominal mris?

I just spoke with my surgeon (out of state) and feel much better. The mri thing probably was a panic attack. But he says that the intusseption problem should have resolved by now.  I'm being sent to a bariatric center nearby and he's going to have them scope for hernia etc. Then we'll go from there.  My husband and I feel much better, though not pain-wise yet for me.  I just want to get stable enough to go home!

I hope things resolve quickly. I'm so sorry you're going through this.

That sound awful but I've never heard about the DS being an issue for DS patients. I see from a
later post your Doc thinks it was something else. I hope you feel better soon. Sending good thoughts
for a good outcome.
